There's no rest for the wicked..isn't that how the saying goes?
I still need major time off to recuperate from my ordeal, but alas, work beckons. I was made aware of a young lady who is a hardcore bondage model in the area; how can I pass that up? Besides, I have stuff I have to take care of here anyway before I make my escape. I look like something the cat dragged in so I'm limiting shoots until I'm back at full steam, but this was simply too good to pass up and I'm afraid of letting someone less experienced play with her
I anticipate resuming my full shooting schedule in September. That will give me time to get my act back together and to wrap up all affairs before I start shooting boys again. But by all means fellas, please keep in touch with me so I can get you in the rotation at my earliest convenience.
My mother, who'd been sick for several months now finally succumbed to metastatic breast cancer. I am grief stricken beyond belief. I can't really take time off currently because I have to be the one to make final arrangements and organize everything. But once this entire thing is settled, I will likely take a much-needed vacation to Florida in order to recuperate. Being a care giver has taken its toll on me physically and mentally and in order to be able to keep doing what I love to do, I need to recharge and unplug. During my absence I will probably not be journaling too much, but you can certainly follow me on twittter (http://twitter.com/GoddessSonya) to keep up with whatever is happening wherever I am. I find micro-blogging so much easier than sitting down to write an entire entry, especially nowadays. Anyway, to those I have either snapped at, cut short or lost contact with, my sincere apologies. I will resume my activities once I've grieved properly and rested. xoxo GS
Outside of my usual activities, I've been taking care of my mother who has been very ill lately. It's difficult to be fully present when your days are occupied with doctors, nurses and home attendants. And it doesn't look as if it's going to get better.
I'm putting filming on hold for the time being to spend time with my mother while she's still here. The workaholic I am, I'll probably be right back to keep my mind occupied, but for now I have to focus on being there for my mother.
I was just looking at some stuff I just shot with Valencia Rio, a New York Mistress that I recently had the pleasure of meeting. A fellow humiliatrix! Anyway, we shot a hot scene where we both jammed our girlcocks down slut steve's throat, spit in his face and mouth and then slapped his face silly. I can't wait for you guys to see us both humiliating him and making him work, work, work!! I'm looking forward to showing you guys more videos of me and other ebony/ethnic Mistresses playing with and dominating guys and girls. Keep your eyes peeled for more Mistress mayhem this fall! GS
I've recently been exchanging emails with the creator of Super Domme. We were introduced by my good friend Mistress Leesa because he was looking for his next news piece for Hog Spy and my name came up (I adore her!). Anyway, I wanted to let you know about the changes he's made (actually, a total overhaul) to the site. If you enjoy aural titillation, you should visit the site and get your fetish or domination fix by phone.
For years, Super Domme has been the UK’s go-to site for live fetish chat and kinky recorded story phone lines. Now, after a complete re-vamping, Super Domme introduces their new UK Top 50. Independant UK mistresses can have their site listed there free of charge and see how their site fares in the ratings.
They also now have clips, new chatline categories, a revised webcams page that tells you who's online right now plus an RSS feed from Hog Spy.
Check it out and let me know what you think!
I just got through reading that NYC is now the nation's safest city. What a long way we've come from subway muggings and chain snatchings...
It got me to thinking though, about the possible reasons for such a downturn in crime. Is it better policing? Are New Yorkers being more cautious and attentive than previous years? Are we just not reporting the crimes as they are just so petty they're not worth the paperwork?
Could it be we're all getting our needs met in other ways? I read in a BDSM history book years ago that in England when public punishment was the norm, crime was pretty much in check. It seemed no one wanted the humiliation of passers-by being able to flog their bare behinds just because it was there. (Man, what a fun time that must have been!!)
So are we occupying ourselves with the many hedonisms available for a good price in our fare city? I mean, rates for sessions haven't been this low in a long time, nor have there been so many mistresses available as there are now. And what about all the play parties where you can get your sensory, tactile and/or voyeuristic needs met by just about any lovely willing to give you the time of day?
I just wonder what the real deal is. Surely there must be something to this, don't you think?
I'm happy to hear from the pop-sociologists and pop-psychologists out there on this one, because I would really like to know if I'm on to something here...
I had such an awful day yesterday I just had to share it with you all. My one moment of sanctuary from an otherwise stress-filled day --my workout -- came crashin g down around my ears when I looked out the window and noticed my car was gone.
I was towed!
It's not enough to just give me a ticket. It's not enough that we New Yorkers pay some of the highest taxes in the land and there are very few (if any) options for free parking. It's not enough that the meter prices keep going up but the roads are still jacked up as ever. Why did they have to tow my car?! On top of ticketing me?
So after tracking down a hostile traffic cop to find out where they take cars in Brooklyn, I had to take public transportation home in my gym clothes, in the rain. Thank goodness I had my registration with me in my wallet and not in my glove compartment.
Two hundred bucks and several hours later, I was able to get my car, but this has left a nasty taste in my mouth for NYC. I mean, I truly love Brooklyn and wouldn't trade it for the world, but it's times like this that make me think hard about moving to Florida where parking is plentiful and taxes are minimal (and the roads are not all jacked up!). Is it any wonder people are leaving the city in droves and taking their hard earned money elsewhere?
Okay, it's out of my system for now.
Just wanted to wish everyone who celebrates Memorial day a happy one full of good barbecue and beaches.
As for me, I've been pretty tired lately, so I had a pedicure and manicure done to relax me. Then, I downloaded music I'd been meaning to get on my iPod. All in all, pretty unexciting. But I find that unexciting is a good thing for the mind when it's accustomed to running around doing things.
I'm still pretty beat and I'm going to hit the sack shrtly, but I wanted to take amoment to pop in and send holiday greetings.
Those close to me know that I have a huge boots and handbag fetish; it's just one of those things that I suppose makes life interesting for me (not to mention making my wardrobe sparkle!)
I wouldn't consider myself as having an addictive personality, but there's something about wanting an item, getting it and then not being satisfied after you get it. Sure you have the momentary joy of conquest, or whatever you want to call it, but the hunt is on again for the next fix. Now, this is only with handbags, clutches and boots. Well...
I'm also a techie. I love having the latest device that I think is going to make my handbag lighter and make travelling more enjoyable. I upgrade my iPods and mobile phones as the technology gets better and I love trying new tech toys on the market as they suit my desires. I regularly check the tech news to see what's hot and what's not.
Let me cut to the chase - I am so jonesing for the new Amazon Kindle. It's basically an iPod for books (yep, I love reading books and periodicals) and I have to have one or I'm going to burst. I frequent Amazon for all sorts of things, but in particular for books, but I'm running out of shelf space for all the books I've amassed over the years.
I'm accepting donations - amazon gift cards in any denomination sent to either email@example.com or to my mailing address. Every dollar counts, so a $20 gift card is just as appreciated as a $200 gift card.
Help me get my Kindle - I don't want to wait for christmas!!
I recently did an interview with Fixe magazine and here it is...
I guess I should keep you guys informed of interviews I'm doing, like the one I did with Secret Magazine and with Toxic Treat some time back. Sometimes in my nerdy excitement for web project development, I forget about stuff you guys might be interested in on the internet.
Since these interviews were so painless, I'm considering doing more interviews, maybe even some print work. I hate to talk about stuff like that since I often change my mind, but I am thinking about it currently.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my interviews and the photos. Talk to you as soon as I have something interesting I want to share.
