Happy Monday!Posted on Apr 14, 2008 by Goddess Sonya
I had a terrific weekend despite my aching feet. Friday I went shopping and got some pretty leather pumps for hitting the city streets this Spring. I wanted to get them in more than one color but they were out of my size. I also went to the movies to see The Bank Job since I like Jason Statham. I thought it was pretty funny and a smart caper of a story line.
Saturday I had dinner and snuck over to the Apple Store to purchase a new iPod classic. Not that I wasn't happy with my new nano, but I just downloaded season one of The Tudors and I was frustrated that I was only able to have one episode at a time on it; that and I don't want to have to whip out my MacBook everytime I want to watch a show I purchased. It was difficult for me though, because there's this gap between the 8 GB nano and the 80GB classic that I fall into. It's like choosing between a sportscar with a 5 Gallon tank and a sports utility vehicle with a 100 Gallon tank with no options in between. I'm more the sportscar type, so you can see my dilemma ...
On Sunday I had a full house with friends and family visiting as well as some other obligations. Later that afternoon I went with my sister to get pedicures and a polish change. We also treated my mom to a manicure and took her to dinner after everyone cleared out.
Today's plan is to take it easy and do some editing so that when I'm in Florida I'm not feeling guilty or like I'm falling behind. Thing is, I have several things to take care of to prepare for my trip, so relaxation may have to wait until I get off that plane.
Speaking of Florida, I'm looking forward to spending time with my good friend Goddess Elizabeth. It'll be good to catch up with her and amusing to have her hook her slave up to her new robo-spanker and ignore him while we chat over tea!
I have a couple of new ideas for some features I want to add to the website, but I won't say what they are at this point, you'll just have to wait and see how it all unfolds.
In the meatime, have a happy monday and I'll write again when I get to Florida.
